Samoa - the Sacred Center |
 |
The word Samoa can be translated in many ways. One way is "Sacred Center". "Sa" means sacred and "moa" means center. We bring you on a journey of discovery, and adventure. Come to Samoa to explore your own sacred center.
Pronounced “SAH-moa” with a
long first syllable, Samoa is made up of 10 islands that are surrounded
by the warm crystal-clear blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. Travelers
will find islands blessed with natural beauty, a tropical paradise
where the environment is pristine; friendly and hospitable people;
and a living culture treasured by all.
Discover what the great writer Robert Louis Stevenson discovered
during his stay in Samoa as evident from the following quote.
"They are easy, merry, and leisure-loving….Song
is almost ceaseless…"
Samoa's natural wonders of waterfalls, rainforests, mountains,
volcanoes, and miles of white sandy beaches beckon the adventurer
seeking peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of modern
society.
Experience Samoa Culture
The
Samoan people are hospitable and eager hosts to visitors from
afar. Also, the living culture, Fa'a Samoa (the Samoan way), still
continues with a 3,000 year history, centering around the extended
family unit, full of love and respect for all people. Experience
a holiday destination like no other, uniquely tropical, exciting
and distinctively Samoan.
